The RCF First Call: The total number of full project proposals submitted

The Regional Challenge Fund in the Western Balkans 6 had its first call for expressions of interest open from February 1st until April 30th. The deadline for submitting the full project proposals by the applicants shortlisted in the previous stage ended on July 30^th.

The RCF has received 64 full project proposals from vocational training institutes and enterprises from WB6 economies, who previously formed the consortia to implement cooperative VET courses.

In the following stages of the process, each project proposal will be appraised by the independent evaluators, based on the following selection criteria:

• Conceptual Criteria – ensure that VTIs and enterprises take joint responsibility for planning, implementing, and monitoring adequate cooperative training programmes.
• Ambition Criteria – secure that the CT programme leads to increased employability, improved quality of the CT programme, brings innovative technologies to VET, and more.
• Feasibility Criteria – confirm that projects are planned efficiently and effectively contribute to the main RCF objectives, with appropriate budget plans.
